Types of Therapy Offered

01

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a form of psychological treatment that has been demonstrated to be effective for a range of problems including depression, anxiety disorders, alcohol and drug use problems, marital problems, eating disorders, and severe mental illness.

02

Dialectical Behavior Therapy

Dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) is a type of talking therapy. It’s based on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). But it’s specially adapted for people who feel emotions very intensely. The aim of DBT is to help you: Understand and accept your difficult feelings.

03

Psychoanalysis Therapy

Psychoanalytic therapy is a form of in-depth talk therapy that aims to bring unconscious or deeply buried thoughts and feelings to the conscious mind so that repressed experiences and emotions, often from childhood, can be brought to the surface and examined. Working together, the therapist and client look at how these early hidden and stifled memories have affected the client’s thinking, behavior, and relationships in adulthood.

04

Attachment-Based Therapy

Attachment-based therapy is an approach to therapy that specifically targets those thoughts, feelings, communications, behaviors, and interpersonal exchanges that patients have learned either to suppress and avoid or to amplify and overemphasize because of early attachment experiences.

05

Art Therapy

Art therapy is a tool therapists use to help patients interpret, express, and resolve their emotions and thoughts. Patients work with an art therapist to explore their emotions, understand conflicts or feelings that are causing them distress, and use art to help them find resolutions to those issues.

06

Mindfulness & Meditation Therapy

Mindfulness-based therapies, which include meditation and mindfulness practices, can help people focus on the present moment and experience stressors in a nonjudgmental way. The goal is to break away from negative thought patterns, increase compassion, and decrease judgment.
